Hon Kom från Havet

“Hon kom från havet” (She Came from the Sea) is a mystical book about a girl who lives with her Grandma on an island, inspired by the real-life island Jeju. They live by diving in the sea and selling what they catch at the market. The
girl has a physical disability that makes it hard for her to walk. Yet, in water she swims like a fish.
One day, Grandmother finds a mystical girl on the seashore... The story is about coping with loss and finding friends.

My work includes: laying out the spreads and illustrating the story.
